Radiology studies
obtained in the Emergency Department after routine working hours are given a
preliminary read by the Emergency Physician, in this case Dr. [Name].
These studies are reviewed by our Radiologist, and you will receive a
call if there is any clinically significant discrepancy noted on this
over-read.
You should also follow up
with your primary care provider to review all labs and imaging obtained in the
Emergency Department, as there are occasionally recommendations for follow up.
This site offers FREE dictation templates and smart phrases that can be used, modified, and shared to help Emergency Medicine students, residents, and physicians chart more efficiently. WARNING: Please read through all templates carefully before using them to document on patient encounters. The author(s) are not responsible for inaccurate documentation as a result of incorrectly using these templates.
